Sig Rodgers Young

b. April 23, 1913, Arizona
d. June, 1982

His parents were Arthur Benjamin Young and Pauline Rodgers Young

When Sig was young his family had a home in Canelo. He and his sister,
Virginia, went to school at the one room schoolhouse. They would ride
their donkey, Trotsky, 2 miles to and from school each day.

Sig was a Captain and B17 pilot in the Army Air Force during WWII
and headed a crew destroying works in East Java
He became a Colonel and was Chairman of Reserve Officers Association
for Arizona. He lived in Tucson, Arizona most of his life.

He was married and divorced and had 1 daughter, Viki Sue.
